Today, at 11:45am PST, the Jupiter cazimi perfected. The Sun and Jupiter met at 28° Taurus, bringing a flash of brilliant heat to Jupiter, burning away an almost-year’s worth of lessons from the planet’s transit through Taurus.

Cazimi is an astro term, derived from an Arabic word, which means “in the heart of.” Any time a planet conjoins the Sun, it travels through the heart-space of our bright star, and undergo a dazzling rebirth. This cazimi happens as Jupiter is in the final degrees of Taurus—he’ll enter Gemini this week, on May 25th.
